The Sampson is 14.9m long x 6.0m wide with all Aluminium Construction and a Hydraulic-landing Door. Built and Launched in 2004. Powered by Twin 125hp Marine Nissan Diesels. The vessel has a Wheelhouse and Toilet. Carrying capacity 30T.

In the centre of the craft there is a 300mm diameter "Moon Well" ideal for Drilling or taking seabed samples. As well there are two rear spud holes for securing the stability of the craft in certain working situations.

On the deck is a 2.5T Hydraulic Knuckle Boom Crane.

Commercial Top Speed of Operation at Lightship is 10 Knots.

Draft at Lightship is 600mm fully loaded 900mm.
